Hi guys and gals

Planning to go to Devon in june via Rosslare, so i'm going to travel down thru the night from Ballymoney.Looking at the map I was thinking of going from Dublin,N7 to Newbridge, then M9,N80,N11 to Rosslare instead of going around the m50 and down the N11.
Also if we reach the port in the early hours can we park up in the port whilst waiting for the ferry (irish ferries).
Any help would be appreciatted

thanks stevie

Stevie ,the best way would be down the M1 through the Port tunnel over the East link Toll Bridge then down the N11.
Or down the M1 past Dublin Airport then the M50 then N11
depends on time of day but the M50 upgrade is almost finished.

Not slow anymore. taking the tunnel and the east link bridge takes you away from the City heading for Wicklow.
But the M50 at night would be very quiet. It is 255 miles from Ballymoney to Rosslare.
On the approach to Rosslare there is Murphys Supervalue on the left hand side big car park. Opposite the Harbour Hotel you can park overlooking the Harbour.
They have got very strict about parking in the harbour area.
My choice would be M1 M50 N11 at that time of night no problem.
