For all you Elvis and Country and Western fan, we will be visiting Memphis/Nashville on our trip to Atlanta this Feb.
Anyone out there who has done this trip?? What should we be looking for, etc

Hi Nora, when you visit "the king's home" give yourself plenty of time. You will enjoy it but ignore the typical touristy paraphernalia on the streets around and focus on the legend. We were there in '06 and the kids still talk about it.

Went to Nashville/Chatanooga.
Had great time. Went for show in Grand Ole Opry.
Stood on the stage of Ryman Theatre{Old Grand Ole Opry} where all the old star sang. The Hall of Fame, you could spend hours looking and reading. Took a tour of the city. We dide't get to Memphis. Another day PG.
We had the St Patricks Day parade today in Atlanta and we had rain.
