About 40 mins out the Clifden Road. Great little site. showers so strong you'll have to peel yourself off the wall after!!! Open most of the year and the owners are very nice.
Amazing beech front location on a white sand beech. Very safe little bay. Great Views of the islands and lovely walks. Great base for touring the West. The Village itself has everything you need. The Butcher/hardwear shop is great value. Its a lovely drive from Roundstone to Clifden town.

Hi T and E + Rocky,

Gurteen bay is really nice. The site is mainly catering for mobile homes, and very well laid out. Motorhome/caravan spots are not too numerous (maybe 12), however we got a lovely spot along by the beach. All facilities are there, and the owner is really keen to please. I'd give a lot of time for travelling around this area as there are lots of bendy roads, but fantastic Connemara scenery to take in.

Dogs are allowed. We have two cavaliers both of whom thoroughly enjoyed long walks on the adjoining headland.
Super site for our 2+2 family. (Kids grown up). We'll be back, and PG weather will be good again.

Caoimhin.

We spend most of our Summer's here when the kids were young. God I still love it.
Climbed the Errisbeg mountain many time and wrote our names at the top. The good old days.

If you can get one of the pitches down on the beach front thats the best spot. Do ye think they should give us a discount for this ad.
