We called to Caseys in Dungarvan this weekend. Lucky with the weather which helped. This was a lovely site. Very packed but what else could you expect in August on a sunny weekend. The facilities are incredibly clean. You have to pay a deposit for the keys for toilets but considering its right on the beach i suppose its the only way they can stop the general public from using them.

We were impressed and the beach was lovely so will be heading back down maybe off-season. Would definately recommend.

Called here again for one night over Easter. Only question i would have is in the toilet block which is nice and modern. Why is there 16 sinks and only one soap dispenser and one hand dryer ????

We stayed in Caseys on Saturday night it was nice I didnt get an answer on the soap thingy lol

€23 for unit + 2 adults
€4 electricty
€10 deposit for loo keys ( a bit much)
€10 deposit for electronic gate key ( i didnt take one)
€1 for shower (6mins)

then you have to get handles to lift the shore to empty your grey water ????

nice weather good for flying kites

will stay again soon

Asked them about the deposit for toilet key and she said that the fact they are so close to the beach it makes sure people don't lend their key to anyone they don't know and stops them becoming the public loo.... suppose i see their point ! Same thing with the gate i presume.

Hadn't the nerve to ask about the sinks though. But was pleasantly surprised not be asked for a deposit when we needed the shore handles...

Just been to Caseys this week end, and will not ever go back, they seem to have a policy of pack them and stack them. We went with friends who had another campervan, both campers were put into a corner, (driving very close in between two static mobile homes) this corner was very wet and we had to launch outselves off on Sunday morning in the hope we would get out, luckily we did.   This corner seemed to be a toilet for dogs, even though there was signs up that dogs were to be on leads, my friend went to reception and informed them after at least 4 dogs came beside our vans to relieve themselves with number 2's, we had our 4 year old grandson with us, so had to try to pick up poo after these dogs. My friend was told that it was up to us to approach the owners?????!!!!!!! The final straw came when my husband went in search of a bin before we left and was told everyone takes care of their own rubbish, no bins.   So in other words we paid €30 for each van for what I would like to know? Its good old rip off Ireland alive and well in Waterford. I will be e mailing Caseys and Bord Failte about this, and will never be returning to Caseys.
